  3. Notes on Printers Devil¬ fonts:Printers Devil fonts include:
  4. Bodidly Bold, Oswald Black, Oswald Grey, BlackForest, InkaBod, and
  5. CartWright 
  6. These fonts are NOT crippled.  They contain all the regular
  7. alphanumeric characters. Most contain an assortment of special
  8. characters.  Fonts contain ╥hinting╙; usually over one hundred
  9. kerning pairs are defined. AFM files are included.  Bodidly Bold,
  10. Oswald Black, Blackforest, and Inkabod are type 1 PostScript fonts
  11. and may also be used with ATM on non-PostScript printers. Oswald
  12. Grey , a type 3 font, may only be used on PostScript printers.  It
  13. has an 80% grey fill with a black border.  Bodidly Bold and Oswald
  14. Black look great in small or large sizes.  I╒d recommend using
  15. Oswald Grey at 24 points or larger. BlackForest and Inkabod are
  16. designed without any curves.  With one or two exceptions all
  17. angles are multiples of 45 degrees.  BlackForest has an old world
  18. German feel.  It seems to look best about 24 points.  InkaBod is
  19. based on the bitmapped font Nordic. On the LaserWriter it looks
  20. great at 14 points and above.  On the ImageWriter, try it at 18
  21. points and larger. CartWright is inspired by the Adobe wood type
  22. Ponderosa font.  It contains only the basic 90+ characters.
  23. The bitmap screenfonts are just your basic Fontographer-generated
  24. characters with minimal touchup.  With ATM on the market I╒d
  25. rather spend my time polishing up the PostScript file than slaving
  26. over an archaic bitmap screenfont. Printers Devil¬ fonts are
  27. distributed in the spirit of shareware.  Try them out for a month.

  35. These products may be distributed freely as long as the following
  36. conditions are met: The files may not be modified and this notice
  37. must be included with each font or group of Printer Devil¬ fonts;
  38. Fonts may be included on collections of Public Domain and
  39. Shareware disks providing that no more than $10 is charged for the
  40. disk.
  41. The Bottom Line:  We will continue to release laser fonts in
  42. a non-crippled format as long as there is a fair response to the
  43. registration fee.
